2016. The year of change.

It started with a change in stamp duty, which sent many buy to let investors running to the hills.

Followed by the lead into #Brexit, for 2 months my fellow agents were complaining of being dead. Then we were into June 23rd and the housing market fell of of a mini cliff.  Most agents were plagued by buyers asking for a 10% price reduction.  The rest of the year, has plodded along, neither crashing, nor rising.

‘Brexit’ has been the word on everyone’s lips in 2016. It’s even made its way into the Collins Dictionary. Whether you are a vendor, buyer, landlord or tenant, economic uncertainty caused by the vote to leave the EU in June has impacted most people in some form.
